This is a new doll I am working on.
Her name is Carolina and she is a sweet and charming young girl!
She is shy and did not want to be photographed until she was completely dressed ( I am still working on her outfit!). I convinced her I could take a picture of her without showing too much.
Hopefully we can get her done soon!
The first doll I ever saw of yours online was a cloth one. This doll is beautidul and honest.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dixie! I needed an Izannah break and decided to do something a little different.
ReplyDeleteIt feels almost like sacrilege to say I need an Izannah break, but it's the truth sometimes! :-)
DeleteGlad to see Carolina up and exploring the house.
ReplyDeleteCarolina looks to me to be a sweet old soul, and so modest....one after my own heart. Blessings
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to convince Carolina to show off her intricate braids when she sits for her next portrait.
ReplyDeleteHello Peggy, I recognized you from MAIDA. Nice to see you have a blog. Your Izannah dollies are wonderful. I don't make that kind of doll, but I do love them and I'm very lucky to have a couple of reproduction Izzies. One by Jan Conwell and one by Martha Bishop. They are in desperate need of some clothing. Your Caroline is lovely, I look forward to seeing her clothing finished. I enjoyed the photos of your home too.
ReplyDeleteDear Peggy,
ReplyDeleteCarolina is so dear! Looking forward to seeing the marvelous creations you make for her!
