A DOLLMAKER & HER JOURNEY

My name is Peggy Flavin, and I live in an old house in Gloucester, Massachusetts, by the sea.

The first doll I ever made was a small, three inch, pillow shaped little thing, with a few strands of yarn for hair. I named her Ellie. She lived with her pillow shaped mother in a cardboard house I built.

I still have her, but since then, things have improved! Now I am making Izannah Walker inspired dolls and also some cloth dolls in an early style.

This is Jane, my first Izannah. She lives with me and some of my other antique dolls.

Check back soon and I will have a picture of Ellie.
